Project Data Catalogue

Metadata management for project datasets and research outputs

The Project Data Catalogue is an internal platform for collecting, maintaining, reviewing, and exporting metadata about datasets and other research outputs produced or reused during a project. Project partners and authorised users are responsible for providing accurate and timely dataset information so that the project Data Management Plan can be properly prepared, updated, and used throughout the project lifecycle.

The catalogue supports responsible research data management by helping users describe what data or outputs exist, who owns or manages them, where they are stored, how sensitive they are, under which conditions they may be accessed or reused, and how they can become Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable, in line with the FAIR principles.

Where publication or preservation is appropriate, the metadata structure is designed to support future repository workflows, including Zenodo-compatible records.
